I live in the eastern panhandle and was wondering if anyone knows what these two streams look like at the moment? Are they fishable ? Or would it be a waste of time driving the 2.5 hours? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you should check the gauge on Dry Fork. It is well downstream of the streams you mention, but is the best bet. Looks like it is coming down, but likely still too high to fish effectively if I had to guess. Gandy and Glady are probably flowing very fast. If it were me, I would opt to wait for better conditions, but if now is the time you have, a drive to the mountains is sometimes worth it, even if you can't get any real fishing in.

Everything is flowing pretty fast right now.
You will have calmer flows on the upper ends of all the tributaries, or at least a shot at a good drift unless you are fishing a big calm hole of water.

I crossed both streams yesterday on my way back to Morgantown.  The clarity was actually okay (not chocolate milk) but the flows were still too high to fish effectively.

I was out all weekend in different spots of southern wv va and tn. Most of the tribs are clean at the top but running hard in the areas I was. Just keep going up and you should be ok.

Clarity is decent, flows are pretty raging....saw both today, but not high up in those watersheds
