In need of information on camping facilities and "additional" information anyone is willing to share --- on the Greenbrier River "headwaters" - a google search comes up with "Durbin" --- Thanks in advance ---

That is the headwaters technically. The East Fork and West Fork come together just down stream of the campground/festival grounds in Durbin. Nice camping areas on both the East and West Forks along with a small motel in Durbin that I hear good things about.

Also camping at Whitaker camp ground above Cass , is another option, right on the Leather. Bark

There is a well maintained campground on the East Fork of the Greenbrier on Route 28 headed north. It's about five miles north of Bartow and after the Route 28/Route 250 split as you head north.

There is plenty of free and secluded camping spots in the Little river/Burner Mt area in the MNF. You would have easy access to both the WFGR and EFGR and their trips

My wife and I went for a drive this past Sunday on Glady Fork Road and Forest Service Road 44, which goes from Alpena to Durbin, crossing the watershed divide between Glady and West Fork Greenbrier drainages. The West Fork looked like it was pretty nice fishing, although I’ve never fished it. I might need to go back with my fly rod.
