Just joined this forum, live in Pendleton County WV. Do y'all share fishing spots on here, or is it as tight-lipped as in real life? :) I've caught wild rainbows and native brookies in my county, but I really want to catch wild WV brown trout. I've only heard rumors of places where they are found (catch and release of course). I'd love if someone would share a spot/stream to catch them, anywhere in the eastern half of the state. Lemme know if anyone's willing to share. :)

I think if you join TU in the state they share stream locations. I am a turkey hunter mostly. I really don’t share my spots. Maybe someone here will be kind enough to point you somewhere. Welcome aboard

Someone will probably PM you somewhere to go, I'm sure. That being said, I think you're missing out on maybe the most fun part of the whole hobby. For me, nothing beats picking somewhere on the map that looks good and hitting the stream with no expectations. The hunt of the unknown will keep you going in the long run. Good luck!

You are totally right, I like to go out and try out streams I've driven by in my own county and sometimes I find brookies, sometimes I don't. Can't seem to get lucky enough with wild browns tho!

I can tell you they are in your county. Just look at bigger water than you typically fish for brookies
