Guys I really need your prayers.  I was informed today that my position at work was done away with.  I was also informed that my health insurance is going to be gone after midnight tonight.  So if you guys can pray for my family and I that i find another job and most importantly that my family is taken care I would greatly appreciate this.

Bryan.

Have been where you are at brother. I just hooked up with a company that will pay my COBRA insurance until they come up with an insurance plan.

I believe since you lost your job, you are eligible for the reduction in the COBRA premium. I believe you only pay 35% of the premium.

Your previous employer should tell you about that. If not, I would call them ASAP.

You & your family will be in my family's prayers. I asked for you all to pray for me & positive things happened. Hang in there & things will get better.

Yes Dan, very unexpected.   Just let's ya know that no matter how you perform and how much tenure you have, you can be a free agent at anytime.  Will be starting the process tommorow of searching.

update for all who have helped me through this rough spell. Right now I have three good opportunities.  One is a Correctional Officer, I have worked in this environment before so nothing new there just closer to home.  Two is working for an insurance firm,  base plus salary so won't have to work off of straight commission. Three is with Allegheny Energy at there CSC in Fairmont.  God is good and I thank him everyday for giving me these opportunities.  A great saying was given to me by a fellow board member and I have taken it to heart.  It goes" opportunity does not knock it looms over us like a cloud, and it is our job to grab it".  That is so true..Anyways guys thanks for keeping me in your prayers and I promise to keep my WV angler family informed on the situation.  Thanks again Guys, you have no idea what this has meant for me and my family!!!!!!

Just a little update.
  Took my test for Allegheny Power and passed it.  Just waiting for them to set up a time for a face to face interview which is the last step for employment.  Getting ready to take my state licensing test for health and life insurance.  Thanks for the thought Grateful, but I am afraid my waistline couldn't afford it. 

Buksnort I really would love to go fishing but I don't for see it in the near future.  I am going through w/drawls right now, it has been almost two months since I have wet a line. Thanks again for all the support and hopefully have something soon to report.

Well guys I have awesome news.  I received a phone call today with a job offer from Allegheny Power.  I will be starting there on the 16th of November and will be full time with benefits.  I can't tell you guys how much support has meant to me and my family.  Praise God for this.  I can't wait to start this new chapter of my life.  Thanks again everyone for all the prayers and support.

I didn't see this, but anyways that is much better than Lowes! Hope that job will work out well for you. Nice job to be had with power company.
