Reply with quote | #1 | I was thinking... OTHER than the Oklahoma game that Bill Stewart obtained the head coach title. (which doesn't really count because McGee was calling the game and was one of our better teams under Rod), what games has Bill Stewart & Company really won?
2008 Season (Under Pat White) Best Wins: Auburn (one of their worst teams) UNC - bowl game, not even ranked
Losses: ECU, Colorado, Cincy, Pitt
*0 wins against ranked opponents. *1 win (Villanova) and 3 losses as a ranked team
2009 Season Best Wins: None
Losses: two mediocre, beatable Auburn & USF teams
*0 wins against ranked opponents *1 win (close UCONN game), 1 loss as a ranked team
*Games Remaining: Louisville, at (5)Cincy, (15)Pitt, at Rutgers
If we lose against Cincy and Pitt..... Stew's record against "decent" opponents is terrible, what 2-6 during his tenure??? Our road to the BCS can't be any easier.
And people wonder why WVU fans are upset?!?!?!

Reply with quote | #2 | I think that everyone should just get used to "Mediocre". This will be the catch word for this football program for a long time, it seems. I am afraid that Doc Holliday will end up leaving and if that happens then we might as well flush our recruiting program down the toilet. __________________ http://flyfshn76.blogspot.com/

Brookie21 is a genius! I'm wondering if a win against a ranked opponent would salvage the season. __________________ Men face reality. Women don't. That's why men need to drink! --- George Christopher |

I can see you and Vinny pondering this question for at least an hour. HAHA |
